Bacteriostatic Water 3mL User Guide

This guide is for Bacteriostatic Water 3mL. Bacteriostatic water is used to reconstitute many lyophilized research peptides. It is not the peptide itself, and it does not have a dose schedule.

SUPPLIES YOU’LL NEED

• Clean hands and a clean work surface
• The vial or bottle listed in this guide
• Alcohol swabs for vial tops or transfer surfaces when needed
• A refrigerator for storage

HOW TO USE IT

• Use a new sterile syringe each time you draw from the bottle.
• Wipe the rubber stopper with an alcohol swab before puncturing.
• Add the amount listed in the specific peptide guide you are following.
• Inject the water slowly down the inside wall of the peptide vial.
• Swirl gently. Do not shake peptide vials.

For a 10-pack, keep unopened bottles sealed and refrigerated until needed. Open one bottle at a time.

IMPORTANT CAUTIONS

• Do not use a bottle that is cracked, leaking, cloudy, or contaminated.
• Do not touch the rubber stopper with fingers after cleaning it.
• Do not use bacteriostatic water for nasal mixing unless the nasal guide specifically allows it. Sterile 0.9% saline or sterile bacteriostatic saline is usually better for nasal sprays.
• Benzyl alcohol can irritate some tissue and is not appropriate for every route or every person.

STORAGE

Store unopened bottles in a cool, clean place. Refrigeration is a good default. Once punctured, keep refrigerated and avoid repeated unnecessary punctures.
